The Herrenhäuser Gärten are a highlight for visitors.
They are divided into a hill garden which is a botanic garden with many different Orchids. Entering the big garden which is designed in a baroque style and consists of many show gardens.

Planning to stay in summer?
At the Maschsee Lake you can rent a paddle boat and visit several bars in the surrounding area. During the "Maschseefest", an annual summer open-air festival, you get to experience even more of hanover. It is held roughly around three weeks usually ranging from late July to early August.
